McGuinness to host sadistic panel show

Patrick McGuinness is to front a new TV show subjecting celebrities to painful ordeals in the name of charity.

Wheel Of Misfortune will also feature the Pain Men, whose stunts on Channel 4’s Balls of Steel included putting staples through their tongues and applying a sanding machine to their buttocks.

The show will feature two teams, each of a celebrity and one of the Pain Men, enduring a series of forfeits. The aim is to see how much pain the contestants can endure.

The Max and Paddy star is recording a pilot at ITV’s London Studios next month.
