Pair on murder rap

Duo charged over Jongleurs' Jody

Two men have appeared in court charged with the allegedly homophobic murder of Jongleurs bar manager Jody Dobrowski.

The 24-year-old, who worked at the Camden branch of the comedy club chain, was beaten to death on Clapham Common, South London, two weeks ago.

He was found unconscious but died later in hospital from head, neck and facial injuries.

Witnesses reported hearing the attackers shout homophobic insults at Mr Dobrowski.

The two men charged are jobless Thomas Pickford, 25, wand decorator Scott Walker, 33.

Both men, of no fixed abode, have been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 31 January.
