A joke from Monty Python's Life Of Brian has been voted the funniest ever line from a movie .

The line "He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" topped the poll by BOL.com.

Terry Jones, who delivers the line as Brian's mother, Mandy, said: The Messiah line was performed to an audience of Tunisian women, and they didn't think it was funny at all.

"So frankly the poll comes as a bit of relief after all these years of uncertainty."

It's one of three lines from the film to make the top ten:
