Roy-Al Murray

Landlord to perform for Queen

Al Murray is to perform at the next Royal Variety show.

He'll be performing his Pub Landlord routine before the Queen and Prince Philip at the show in London's Dominion Theatre on November 26.

The bill, headed by Sir Elton John's first command performance for 30 years, also includes comic Julian Clary -now considered rehabilitated enough for a royal audience after his controversial 'fisting Norman Lamont' gag at the British comedy awards.

Jennifer Lopez, Charlotte Church and Craig David will also perform in the show, due to be screened on ITV later this year.

Producer Jeff Thacker said: "I feel honoured that so many top international stars have accepted to appear on the show."
