Comics to name comedy heroes

Clive Anderson, Lee Evans and Alistair McGowan are to talk about their comic influences in a new Radio Two series.

The comedians will select clips of performers who have shaped their comedy, and discuss their attitudes to the funny business.

Jackie Mason, (pictured) currently appearing in London's West End, will be the first star featured in the Talking Comedy show, which starts on Saturday October 27 at 1pm.

Neil Innes and Sean Lock will also be taking part in later episodes.
