With Colin Jost and Michael Che

Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che had the usual surfeit of Donald Trump material to draw from last night. 

And in talking about how the US President was bizarrely pandering to Russia while picking a fight with Canada, Jost dropped in a  joke about  Toronto-born Mike Myers, who had earlier made his second appearance on the show as  Elon Musk.

‘That’s right,’ he said. ‘Those syrup-guzzling, Poutine-munching, moose-humping hockey sluts have taken advantage of us far too long; even right here at SNL, American sketch comedy jobs are being stolen by filthy Canadians.’

Finally, Lord Gaga (Mikey Day) stops by to discuss supporting his wife, Lady Gaga, who was the week’s guest host.
