New documentary series about an American institution

Here's a trailer for a new documentary series about Saturday Night Live.

It kicks off with former cast member Tracy Morgan saying: 'I can teach you all here how to tell jokes and do comedy - but are you funny?'

Contributors include Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell,  Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Andy Samberg,S arah Silverman, Sarah Silverman,  and Larry David, who calls the show 'an American institution'.

One of the episodes is about the 'more cowbell' sketch featuring Ferrell and Christopher Walken, and another is about the troubled 1985 season that almost got the show cancelled.  

SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night is streaming January 16 on Peacock.
