Sophie Willan's comedy returns next month

Here's the trailer for the second series of Alma’s Not Normal, which returns to the BBC on October 7.

Sophie Willan's semi-autobiographical show revolves around her Boltonian wild-child character Alma Nuttall and her family of eccentric, unruly women.

And in series two, she embarks on a career in stand-up, just like its creator and star did.

The cast also includes  Jayde Adams, Siobhan Finneran and Lorraine Ashbourne.

Willan, who has said this will be the last series of Alma’s Not Normal, has a role in David Michell's new crime series, Ludwig, which starts tonight.
