New comedy film with Joe Wilkinson, Laura Aikman and Jane Asher

Here’s the trailer for British comedy film A Family Affair, starring Joe Wilkinson as a cash-strapped hotel manager.

In the film, due out on digital platforms on May 20, his character must stave off interest from wealthy buyers at a public auction whilst hosting his in-laws on their wedding anniversary.

Peter Thompson, of Lightbulb Film Distribution, said: ‘A Family Affair is a hilarious, farcical comedy, guaranteed to bring a smile to audience faces. Joe Wilkinson is a household name in comedy and he shines in his debut film lead role, evoking memories of John Cleese in Fawlty Towers.’

A Family Affair also stars Laura Aikman and Jane Asher, was written and directed by Warren Fischer and produced by Joan Lane.
