Here's Reuben Kaye performing at the gala launching the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

At the Palais Theatre, the comic and cabaret singer spoke about how the world's turning to shit – thanks to those at the top of the tree – as part of a song about fighting back.

The show was recorded earlier this month, and now it has aired on Australia's ABC.

Kaye is performing his new show Apocalipstik s at the festival.
