From Simpsons creator Matt Groening

Netflix has dropped the first trailer for Disenchantment, the new comedy from Matt Groening.

As the voiceover explains, having tackled the present in The Simpsons and the future in Futurama, it was only to be expected that the cartoonist would tackle the past next.

It revolves around princess Bean, to be voiced by Abbi Jacobson, and her trusty companion Elfo (Nat Faxon) and her personal demon Luci (Eric André.)

There’s also a mini Boosh reunion as the cast includes Noel Fielding, Rich Fulcher and Matt Berry, as well as British comedy actress Lucy Montgomery.

Futurama actors John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille alos have roles.

Described as the offspring of The Simpsons and Game of Thrones, first ten episodes land on the on-demand service on August 17.
