Follow-up to Gnomeo & Juliet

The first trailer has landed for Sherlock Gnomes – the animated follow-up to 2011's Gnomeo & Juliet – has been released.

Johnny Depp plays the titular detective, while James McAvoy and Emily Blunt revive their roles as Gnomeo and Juliet.

The cast also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor as Gnome Watson, Michael Caine, Maggie Smith, Ashley Jensen, Matt Lucas, Stephen Merchant, Julie Walters, Richard Wilson and Mary J. Blige.

Due for release in March the film is directed by John Stevenson, who also helmed Kung Fu Panda, and has been written by Kevin Cecil, Andy Riley and Ben Zazove - with music by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
