From her Edinburgh show Quetzals

Comedian Caroline Mabey says she uses online Scrabble like a dating app.

The stand-up said she won the heart of her partner via the word game, saying: ‘I blew his mind by laying down some seriously high-scoring words.’

Then she joked ‘I may not look it, but I’m very skilful… at googling anagrams.’

‘We weren’t even going out yet and I was cheating.’

Mabey performed the routine at Chortle's Fast Fringe, ahead of her Edinburgh show Quetzals, which is on at Just The Tonic @ The Caves at 7.40pm.
