See a young Dara O Briain in a human centipede *
Here’s Dara O Briain as he looked 32 years ago – taking part in Roy Castle's Record Breakers.
The clip was posted on social media by BBC Archive to mark the anniversary of the broadcast.
It showed 1,148 students from University College Dublin attempting to break the world record for the longest human centipede –nothing to do with the horror film in which victims are sewn together mouth to anus but a chain of people walking with their legs tied together.
O Briain, who was studying mathematics and theoretical physics at the time spotted himself in the footage.
He tweeted: ‘This is definitely me at 24 seconds in, and I have absolutely no recollection of it, but will happily take the credit, although I bet it was UCD science day.’
Some social media users suggested it looked a little more like a young Jay Leno, Jonathan Ross or Stephen Fry.
