Reuniting him with 30 Rock's Tina Fey

Tracey Morgan is set to reunite with 30 Rock co-star and creator Tina Fey on a new comedy.

Fey is an executive producer on the as-yet untitled  show alongside fellow 30 Rock showrunner Robert Carlock and Sam Means, who was a writer on the hit show. 

The new comedy – which is being piloted for NBC  – stars Morgan as a disgraced former football player who is on a mission to rehabilitate his image, US trade media reports. 

It is written by Carlock and Means, and directed by Rhys Thomas – the former Saturday Night Live director, rather than the creator of Dodger and The Kemps: All True.

Carlock and Fey also ccreated Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt together.
