15 shows across three venues

Durham is getting a one-day comedy festival.

Stevie Martin (pictured), Dan Tiernan, Chris Cantrill, Amy Annette, Joe Kent-Walters and Lorna Rose Treen are among the comedians performing on the May 26 bank holiday.

The event features a total of 15 shows across three venues and is partly organised by local students.

Festival co-founder  Ben Lycett said: ‘This is a chance to watch some of the most exciting acts from across the country work up their new shows.’
