Fundraiser returns to the Royal Albert Hall

Micky Flanagan is to host the annual Teenage Cancer Trust benefit gig at the Royal Albert Hall, it has been announced today.

The gig on March 25 comes amid a week of fundraising events at the historic London venue, which The Who’s Roger Daltrey started in 2000.

TikToker and podcaster GK Barry will be the face of this year’s season and will be performing along a bill that includes The Who, The Corrs, James Arthur, Frank Carter and Paul Cook, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols.

Flanagan said: ‘This is an incredibly important charity, a huge thank you to everyone involved, so let’s all go Out …  to help Teenage Cancer Trust!’

The rest of the comedy line-up has not yet been announced, but last year’s benefit featured Kevin Bridges, Rob Beckett, Paul Chowdhry, Joe Lycett, Joanne McNally, Seann Walsh and John Bishop.

Tickets for all the week’s gigs go on sale at 9am on Friday.
