Stand-up wins venue's New Comedian of the Year title

Rohan Sharma was crowned 2024’s Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year in London last night.

The comic – pictured above with awards producer David Hardcastle – previously made the finals of the 2Northdown new act award and So You Think You’re Funny Finalist, both in 2022.

Second place went to  American stand-up Lianna Holston and third place went to Abbie Edwards.

Also taking part in the final – hosted by  Amy Gledhill – were Eli Hart, Gabrielle MacPherson, Ibs Sesay, Jack Henry, John Pape, Laura Walsh,, Mark Moloney, Monica Hsueh, Rob Moriarty, Sascha LO and Tevin Everett.

Previous finalists include Rob Beckett, Rachel Parris, Rosie Holt, Olga Koch and. Ian Smith.
