Including Jo Brand, Jon Richardson and  Loyiso Gola

The guests joining Rhod Gilbert for the first festive specials of his Comedy Central series Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains have been revealed. 

For the Christmas edition he will be joined by singer Mel B, comedian Jo Brand and The One Show co-presenter, Alex Jones.

And for the New Year show he will be joined by Vicky Pattisonand comics Jon Richardson and  Loyiso Gola.

Gilbert says: ‘This is the first ever Christmas special of Growing Pains and it’s a yuletide feast of cringey Christmases. The festive period lends itself brilliantly to hilarious tales of teenage trauma  - pitiful presents, painful parties and stockings bulging with embarrassment.’

The two festive specials follow a sixth series featuring celebrity guests such as Layton Williams, Dara O Briain, Emily Atack, Vogue Williams and Judy Murray.
