TommyInnit plays his first stand-up tour
Internet star TommyInnit has announced a handful of tour dates for the spring.
The YouTuber and Twitch streamer – real name Tom Simons – this year took his show How To Be A Billionaire around America, and last year toured with a show entitled Annoying At First, in which he talked about his childhood and rise to popularity.
But the new dates are billed as his first ever stand-up comedy tour – with the first half dedicated to his ‘genius insights’ and the second featuring the gamer being interview by a fellow YouTuber
He will be playing Glasgow King's Theatre on April 6, Manchester Bridgewater Hall on the 7th, Birmingham Symphony Hall on the 8th and London Palladium on the 9th.
Simons, 20, found YouTube success via his Minecraft videos. He has the most followed channel dedicated to the game on Twitch, with 7.3 million followers, and also has 15 million subscribers on YouTube.
A collection of his quotes became a Sunday Times bestseller and his new book TommyInnit's Guide to Survival will be published by Quercus in April.
Tickets for TommyInnit: The Survival Tour go on sale at 9am on Thursday.
