Goodness Gracious Me stars reunite for 30th anniversary

Retrospective at Bristol's Slapstick Festival

The stars of Goodness Gracious Me are to reunite ahead of its 30th anniversary.

Stars Sanjeev Bhaskar, Meera Syal and Anil Gupta will be talking about their groundbreaking sketch show at Bristol’s Slapstick Festival in February.

The comedy originally aired on Radio 4 from 1996 to 1998 before transferring to BBC Two.

All the stars previously reunited for a 20th anniversary special of the TV series on BBC Two in 2018, which is currently available on iPlayer.

At the Bristol event on February 15, hosted by journalist Matthew Sweet, the trio will be talking about the series’ focus on British Asian experiences, its challenge to stereotypes and its legacy.

Tickets are available here.
