In new Netflix comedy opposite Rosamund Pike

Sacha Baron Cohen is to star a new Netflix comedy movie as womanising chauvinist who finds himself in a parallel world dominated by women.

The Borat star will appear opposite Rosamund Pike in the film, entitled Ladies First.

It is loosely inspired by the  2018 French film Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile, which is also available on the streaming service. The remake is directed by Thea Sharrock, who also helmed Wicked Little Letters, and is  scripted by Booksmart writer  Katie Silberman and Natalie Krinsky, who also penned The Broken Hearts Galler.

Baron Cohen previously worked with Netflix in The Trial of the Chicago 7, winning himself an Oscar nomination for his role as Abbie Hoffman.
