Karen Dunbar announces Scottish tour
24 shows in a month
Karen Dunbar has announced her third tour since 2023 – packing 24 shows into 23 venues in just one month.
The Chewin’ The Fat comedian kicks off the Scottish tour, simple called An Evening With Karen Dunbar, with dates in Dundee and Markinch on November 1.
It has been organised by Aberdeen-based promotors, Breakneck Comedy, whose founder Naz Hussain, said: ‘It’s testament to Karen’s talent and storytelling prowess, that she’s got a whole new show for audiences, even though she toured with us earlier in the year.’
The tour takes in a number of smaller towns across Scotland, with Hussain adding: ‘I love bringing big names to towns that some promotors might overlook. It’s really exciting to be able to put on shows all over Scotland and make it easier for people to be able to enjoy a great night of comedy and entertainment without them having to worry about catching a train home from the city.’
Dunbar is also planning another major tour next year. Hussain said: ‘I’m incredibly proud that Karen trusts us work with her on these tours. It’s a huge privilege to work with her and to bring her show to more people.’
