Operation Mincemeat extends for a tenth time

West End musical comedy will run to March at least

Operation Mincemeat has announced its tenth extension in the West End.

The musical comedy about a daring Second World War misinformation mission has so far sold more than 300,000 tickets – including more than 140 to one die-hard fan who has been back that often.

The show will now continue its run at London’s Fortune Theatre until  March 8, at least. It was originally booked for an eight-week run from March last year.

The show was written and composed by  David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts.

In a statement, they said: ‘We can’t quite fathom the wild journey our show has been on, now reaching a milestone extension number ten.’

The show has also extended its fortnightly ticket lottery, now offering a number of £25 tickets to every performance.
