Lachlan Werner announces debut tour

Voices Of Evil earned him a Chortle Award nomination

Comedy ventriloquist Lachlan Werner – the self-appointed ‘poof prince of puppets’ – is taking his debut show on short tour of the UK this summer.

The comic has eight dates around the UK, plus one in The Elysian Theatre in Los Angeles, for the show Voices Of Evil which premiered at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

He said: ‘The response to the show this last year has been ridiculous, I don't think I knew how many people would make so much noise for a queer horror puppet show.

‘Director Laurie Luxe and I are so proud of it and I can't wait to bring the show to so many new places.’

The show earned Werner – who has been performing as a ventriloquist since the age of 10 – a nomination in the variety category of this year’s Chortle Awards.
