Villain show hits the road

Daniel Foxx has announced a UK tour of his debut show Villain, having premiered it at last month’s Edinburgh Fringe.

The tour –  about ‘childhood, Tilda Swinton and bullying (but in a chic way)’ – will kick off  at the Aberystwyth Comedy Festival on October 1 and will feature a handful of dates each month until it winds up in Guildford in May. It also includes four night at the Soho Playhouse in New York.

As well as being a stand-up who has supported Josh Widdicombe, Rosie Jones, Judi Love and Sofie Hagen, Foxx is a TikTok star with his comedy sketches amassing millions of views. He is also  working with a production company on making a possible series based on one of his characters.

Villain was one of 20 shows nominated for the NextUp’s ‘biggest award in comedy’ at the Fringe.
