Mixed-bill stand-up night to tour Scotland

Edinburgh’s Gilded Balloon has launched a new mixed-bill stand-up tour to play some of Scotland’s leading theatres.

Comics playing the first batch of Big Fab Comedy Show gigs include Maisie Adam (pictured), Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Jay Lafferty, Chris Forbes abd Sarah Keyworth. 

Each month features the same line-up visiting a string of venues – with  Aberdeen, Dundee, Dunfermline, Galashiels and Edinburgh lined up for the October and November gigs.

In a statement, Katy and Karen Koren, the directors of Gilded Balloon, said: ‘The tour will bring the UK’s most popular TV comics to towns and cities across Scotland, alongside some rising talent that we’re incredibly excited about.’

In October, Thanyia Moore, Chris Forbes, Rosco McClelland, Liam Farrelly and Maisie Adam will play the following dates:

Thursday 26 October - Dundee, Whitehall Theatre
Friday 27 October - Galashiels, Volunteer Hall
Saturday 28 October - Edinburgh, Queen’s Hall

And in November, Sarah Keyworth, Jay Lafferty, Joshua Bethania, Marjolein Roberston & Kiri Pritchard-McLean will be at:

Tuesday 7 November - Aberdeen, Tivoli Theatre
Wednesday 8 November - Dunfermline, Alhambra Theatre
Thursday 9 November - Dundee, Whitehall Theatre
Friday 10 November - Galashiels, Volunteer Hall

As with most mixed-bill gigs, line-ups are subject to change.
