Comedian Dane Simpson is taking part in Australian reality show The Amazing Race.
The stand-up has teamed up with his father Bow for a celebrity version of the Channel 10 programme.
Their race around the world kicked off in Delhi on Thursday night, and will air later this year.
The winning pair will receive $100,000 (£53,000) for a charity of their choice – i Simpson’s case it would be Dharriwaa Elders Group, an Aboriginal cultural centre in Walgett, New South Wales.
Simpson said: ‘Dad spends a lot of time in Walgett, has a house there. He lives there half the time, and he lives in Wagga Wagga.’
Other pairs taking part include Peter Rowsthorn – who played Brett in Kath & Kim – with his daughter, Frankie; television host Grant Denye and his wife Chezzi; and Emma Watkins from The Wiggles and her sister Hayley.
Simpson heads to the Edinburgh Fringe in August where he performs his show Didgeridoozy for the first 11 days of the festival at Assembly. He will also be hosting some of Chortle’s Fast Fringe showcases.
