Nick Mohammed announces a West End run

Mr Swallow hits the Duke Of York’s Theatre for a week

Nick Mohammed has announced a week-long West End run of his Mr Swallow show.

The Ted Lasso star will be at London’s  Duke Of York’s Theatre from September 5 to 9, with two shows a night on the Thursday to Sunday.

It comes after his The Very Best & Worst of Mr Swallow UK tour visited the same theatre earlier this month, with his mix of comedy, memory tricks, and rendition of the entirety of Les Mis – some of it on roller-skates.

In the guise of his cheery but irritating alter-ego, he said: ‘Just when I thought my little legs (and toes) couldn’t take it anymore, I’ve decided to don my skates FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK of shows at the Duke of Yorks in the hope that everyone in the UK has the opportunity to see this show at least twice.

‘A million thanks to everyone who’s already seen it but frankly it’s not enough! Love and hugs.’

Mohammed recently shot a lead role in the film Maggie Moore(s), opposite Jon Hamm and Tina Fey, which will be released later in 2023.

Tickets for the West End shows are on sale now and are available here.
