Music festivals announce their 2023 comedy line-ups
A number of music festivals have announced their comedy line-ups in the past 24 hours.
The End Of The Road festival at Larmer Tree Gardens on the Dorset/Wiltshire border will feature Lou Sanders, Sara Pascoe, Sophie Duker, Lolly Adefope and Robin Ince.
Also performing over the weekend of August 31 to September 3 are Tom Ballard, Steen Raskopoulos, Simon Munnery, Kemah Bob, Rob Auton, Esther Manito, Sarah Bennetto, Russell Hicks, Thanyia Moore and Eric Rushton.
Musical highlights all across the bill include King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Future Islands, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Wilko.
Standon Calling will be headlined by Mark Watson, Rhys James and Reginald D Hunter, who said he was ‘proud to be associated with a festival that has Rick Astley on the bill.’
Also taking part at the Hertfordshire festival, which runs from July 20 to 23 are Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Lou Sanders, Spring Day, Tom Ward, Thanyia Moore, Andrew White, Amy Webber, Tadiwa Mahlunge and compere Josh Howie
Musical headliners at the event, now in its 17th year, are Years & Years, Self Esteem, Bloc Party and The Human League.
At the 2000Trees festival at Upcote Farm in Cheltenham, the comedy headliners include l Kiri Pritchard-McLean,Glenn Wool and John Robertson’s interactive adventure game The Dark Room,
Also on the bill over the weekend of July 5 to 8 are Rob Rouse, Olga Koch, Matt Reed, Rob Mulholland, Cerys Nelmes, Huge Davies, Josh Weller, Ryan Cullen, Yuriko Kotani, Raj Poojara, Erika Ehler, Dan Tiernan, Umby Winters, Aaron Wood and Jamie Hutchinson.
Musical acts include Soft Play, Bullet For My Valentine and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes.
