Just For Laughs London expands again
Just For Laughs has added a raft of new shows to its London festival at the O2 in March.
New sessions include stand-up from US comedians Michelle Wolf and Brad Williams; a cabaret line-up gig fronted by Jordan Gray; and a UK incarnation of the New Faces showcase, which has a track record of uncovering new talent at the original Montreal festival.
Also announced today are more names for Max & Ivan’s The Wrestling. Alex Horne, Phil Wang, Glenn Moore and Abi Clarke, will be making their debut in the ring alongside the previously announced Ed Gamble and Rosie Jones.
Joe Lycett will be acting as Moore’s manager, while Greg James and Nish Kumar have joined Aisling Bea on the commentary desk. Suzi Ruffell will MC and Jazz Emu, Nick Helm and Flo & Joan will provide music for the show on the closing night, March 5.
Also joining the festival is Sue Perkins, who will be hosting a panel event called Comic Relief: Proud Every Day, talking about how the charity helps LGBTQ+ projects. Meanwhile Ed Gamble has joined the line-up show Katherine Ryan And Friends and UK Eurovision entry Sam Ryder joins the Graham Norton Variety Show
The show runs from March 2 to 5, and a festival pass that gets fans into all shows not in the main O2 arena – subject to availability – costs £50, or £30 as an add-on to an arena show. This, and tickets to the newly-announced shows, will be on sale from Friday. Visit the official website here.
