Bad Education exec Ben Cavey joins 42
TV executive Ben Cavey has joined Los Angeles and London-based management and production company 42 as head of comedy.
He joins the firm having just finished acting as executive producer on season four of Jack Whitehall’s Bad Education for the BBC. And from 2018 to 2002 he was director of original comedy programming at Netflix, responsible for formats incluidng I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, Charlie Brooker’s Death to 2020 and Murderville.

Before Netflix, Cavey spent 13 years at Peaky Blinders producer Tiger Aspect Productions, most recently as managing director in the UK, where his credits include Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father, Man Like Mobeen and Psychobitches, which he also created.
