When Frankie meets Bernie

Comic to interview veteran US Senator

Frankie Boyle is to interview Bernie Sanders live on stage next month.

The comic will meet the Senator and former Presidential hopeful at an event at the Brighton Dome ‘to take on the 1 per cent’.

Organisers at the How To Academy call the veteran Left-winger ‘an underdog who became an international icon, unafraid to speak truth to power and defend ordinary people against vested interests and the billionaire class,’ adding that he ‘is more than a politician: he is an inspiration to anyone unwilling to accept a system fuelled by uncontrolled greed’.

In his conversation with Boyle at the Brighton Dome on February 24, the 81-year-old is set to set out his vision ‘of what would be possible if the political revolution took place’.

Boyle tweeted that he was ‘really looking forward’ to the encounter. Tickets are available here.

The event ties in with Sanders’ new book, entitled It's OK To Be Angry About Capitalism.
