Ricky Gervais to play Hollywood Bowl
...and NYC's Radio City Music Hall with new Armageddon show
Ricky Gervais has announced dates at two iconic US venues: the Hollywood Bowl and Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The comic joked that when he was invited to play the outdoor LA venue his first thought was ‘What if it rains?’. ‘This pretty much sums up how British people think,’ he said.
The Hollywood performance of his new show Armageddon is on May 6 and the New York show on June 30. Tickets will go on sale starting Friday at 10am local time.
Ian Coburn of promoters Live Nation said: ‘Ricky Gervais is Britain’s biggest comedian. He sells out arenas around the world.’
