Catherine Cohen announces first UK tour
New show from 2019 Edinburgh best newcomer
Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Catherine Cohen has announced her first UK tour.
The New York-based musical comedian is giving nine performances of her new show Come For Me in February nexy uear.
It follows the success of her 2019 best newcomer show The Twist…? She’s Gorgeous (review) which was subsequently made into a Netflix special.
Come For Me is described as ‘an openly glamorous, decidedly horny musical exploration of what it means to enter your thirties as a woman online, in love, and inspired to romanticise the prospect of freezing your eggs.;
Producers say: ‘Emotionally prepare yourself for sexy stand-up and songs about finding your purpose, filling the void and sending nothing but love and light to anyone who isn’t addicted to your personality.’
As well as her stand-up Cohen has appeared in What We Do In The Shadows, Awkwafina is Nora From Queens, and the upcoming Hulu series What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding.
Last year, she published her first book entitled God I Feel Modern Tonight, which is her collection of comedic poetry.
Tickets for her UK tour go on sale tomorrow – except for Norwich which goes on sale next week.
