Darren Harriott and Josh Jones launch new Dave podcast

'The love child of Cash In The Attic and Through the Keyhole’

Darren Harriott and Josh Jones are to host a new podcast in which they visit fellow comedians’ homes, then auction off some of their stuff for charity.

Harriott called the show  ‘the love child of Cash In the Attic, Antiques Road Show and Through the Keyhole’.

Guests lined up for Hard Sell include Joel Dommett, Helen Bauer, Ray Badran, Stephen Bailey, Kemah Bob, Ivo Graham, Dan Tiernan, Josh Pugh, Ria Lina and Matthew Crosby, with the money raised going to charity.

Harriott  added  added: 'We get to have a good rummage around and any judgy bitchiness will be offset by raising money for a great cause. (What’s the cause again?).'

And Jones said: ‘The best thing is sneaking around celebrities' houses having a nosey through their stuff - I love it. I also had a secret poo in one of the houses, so listen to the podcast to try and hear shame in my voice and figure out which house I left my dignity behind in.’

The show is being made by BBC Studios Production for Dave, launches today on the main podcast platforms via the Acast network.

Commissioner Mark Iddon added: ‘I think we’re all secretly nosey and want to know what junk other people have in their home, but only Darren and Josh are blunt enough to actually go through it.’
