Luke Kempner announces 2022 tour
40 dates for Spitting Image impressionist
Comedian and impressionist Luke Kempner has announced a 2022 tour.
Macho Macho Man promises a look at ‘what masculinity really means’ through stand-up and impressions of the likes of Ru Paul, Piers Morgan, Joe Wicks and Boris Johnson.
Kempner currently provides some of the voices for the new Spitting Image revival on Britbox.
And his 2022 tour will feature the cast of Downton Abbey giving advice on becoming a first-time parent; Ted Hastings, Steve Arnott and the rest of AC-12 discovering which of Kempner’s friends didn’t get a round in; and Louis Theroux taking him through Man-School.
The comic said: I can’t wait to get out of my house! It’s quite scary for my wife to come downstairs and see me dressed as Boris Johnson or Chloe from Love Island so it will be welcome break for her.’
His 40-date tour kicks off at Cardiff’s Glee club on February 2 and finishes at Reigate’s Harlequin Theatre on April 23. Tickets are available from 10am on Friday.
