New role for Burniston co-creator

Burniston co-creator Robert Florence is to host the revived version of GamesMaster on E4, the broadcaster has announced today.

 His co-hosts on the show – which features celebrities, gaming stars and fans all take part in video game contests –   will be esports and gaming host, Frankie Ward and TV newcomer Ty Logan.

Florence, who will also be a creative consultant on the show,  said: ‘I’m hugely honoured that I’ve been trusted with ushering a new generation of challengers to their glory or humiliation, under the unflinching gaze of the GamesMaster. I look forward to finding out how much I can get away with.’

The three-part series will premiere on E4’s YouTube, followed by a linear play on E4 soon.
