Musical comic named Bath festival's new act of the year
Bennet Kavanagh has been named new act of the year at the Bath comedy festival.
At an gig in the city’s Forum Ballroom, the comic triumphed over fellow finalists Fraser Gibson, Carla Gordon, Sharlin Jaha, Bryan James, Anthony Jeannot, Iona Stewart Richardson, Ashish Scientist Suri, Dan Tiernan, Daniel Vallender, Henry Whaley and Harry Wright
Whaley was second and Jaha third.
