Slim and Joanne McNally announce London Palladium dates
Comics Joanne McNally and Slim have both announced London Palladium gigs as part of their new tours.
Slim, who has previously supported Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle, announced his latest short tour, King, today. It culminates at the Palladium on November 14, with a gig that will be filmed for later release as a stand-up special.
His agents bill him as the ‘king of the black British comedy circuit’ and this show explores how he feels about this title as well as fatherhood, relationships and his working life as a comic with 20 years’ experience.
Last year, Slim – real name Danny Gray – featured in Mo Gilligan’s Black, British And Funny documentary, while his other TV credits include The Russell Howard Hour on Sky One.
Meanwhile, Irish comic McNally will be bringing her tour show The Prosecco Express to the Palladium on May 21 next year.
In it, she discusses being in her late thirties with no husband, no kids, no pension and no plan.
The Palladium is hosting several high-profile comedians in the coming months, including Ricky Gervais, Jason Manford, Katherine Ryan and Hannah Gasdby. Full comedy schedule
