Salisbury gets its first comedy festival

Frankie Boyle and Dara O Briain headline

Salisbury is to stage its first comedy festival – a day-long outdoor event headlined by Frankie Boyle and Dara O Briain.

More than a dozen comics will be appearing in Hudson’s Field on August 7, August, raising funds for the local hospital’s appeal.

Also taking part are the likes of Seann Walsh, Dane Baptiste, Angela Barnes and Kiri Pritchard-McLean.

As well as the marathon comedy, there will be a funfair and food and drink from local companies.
