Guildford Fringe confirms 2021 festival

With a raft of comedy gigs

The Guildford Fringe Festival has announced that it will be returning thus summer.

It will kick off on July 2 with a comedy gala at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre featuring Rich Hall, Dane Baptiste, Stephen Bailey and Ria Lina – and run until the 25th.

The line up includes comedy gigs every night at the town’s Star Inn, featuring the likes of Simon Brodkin, Marcel Lucont and Alistair Barry, with a few other stand-up shows at The Keep Pub.

In all 60 events across all arts have been announced today,  with further acts to be added later

Nick Wyschna, the managing director of Guildford Fringe Festival, said:’"It feels great to be talking about Guildford Fringe Festival once again after having to cancel it in 2020. It’s been a tough year but let's focus on the positives.  Throughout July, audiences can be immersed in theatrical energy whatever events they choose to come and see.’
