A day is not enough...
It seems that 24 hours just isn’t enough for Robin Ince’s annual celebration of rational and curious thought.
Last weekend the comedian hosted a marathon session of his Nine Lessons And Carols For Socially Distanced People – but couldn’t accommodate all the guests he wanted.
So an extra session has been announced for this session to welcome all those who couldn’t fit in to the original run.
Guests will include physicist Dr Helen Czerski, astronaut Tim Peake, The Ugly Animal Preservation Society with comedians Ria Lina and Elf Lyon, biologist Simon Watt, QI creator John Lloyd, blues singer Femi, statistician Jen Rogers, singer/songwriter Penfriend, marine biologist Helen Scales and more.
Last weekend’s show, which was watched by more than 30,000 people and raised over £23,000 for charity, included the audience helping astronomer Chris Lintott to discover a new supernova that might change the calculated age of the known universe and appearances from the likes of Stewart Lee (dressed as Santa), Jo Brand, Eddie Izzard Tim Minchin and Harry Hill.
The encore gig takes place from 7pm on Saturday here.
