Fresh Prince cast to reunite
Unscripted special for HBO Max
Will Smith is to reunite with the rest of the cast of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air are to reunite to celebrate the sitcoms 30th anniversary.
Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid, Alfonso Ribeiro and DJ Jazzy Jeff will all return for the unscripted reunion special for HBO Max.
The sow originally ran on NBC from 1990 to 1996 and followed Smith as he moved from the tough streets of West Philadelphia to live with his wealthy uncle and aunt in Bel Air.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the series is to get a gritty reboot, based on Morgan Cooper’s popular viral video
HBO Max is to air the reunion in November. It already carries all episodes of the original series.
The streaming service is also filming a long-awaited Friends reunion to accompany the episodes of that 1990s sitcom that it also carries.
