I Can See Your Voice to air next year

Paddy McGuinness has been announced as the host of BBC One's new music game show I Can See Your Voice.

In the format, due to air next year, two players will try to win a cash prize by guessing who can and can’t sing from a group of mystery singers standing before them. A panel of guest celebrities will help them choose.

McGuinness said: 'A show like this doesn’t come along very often so I am thrilled to have been asked to host I Can See Your Voice. It’s bonkers, silly and the ultimate family night in.

'The show has been a huge success around the world so here’s to making it the one to watch in the UK in 2021.'

It originated in South Korea, where it has run for seven seasons, and has been exported globally. A forthcoming US version will be hosted by comedian Ken Jeong.
