Tim Key's poems to be released on vinyl
Tim Key's Late Night Poetry Programme is to be released on vinyl for the first time.
The LP is being put out to on Record Store Day, which encourages people to visit independent retailers, so is not available online.
Demon Records is releasing the fourth series of the Radio 4 show, which originally aired in 2018, on heavyweight coloured vinyl with a gatefold sleeve.
In the series, Tom Basden provides musical accompaniment to Key’s comic poems, while the cast also includes Sally Philips, Simon Armstrong and Katy Wix.
Record Store Day had been due to take place last Saturday but has now been postponed until June 20 in the hope that lockdown restrictions will be lifted by then.
Demon has previously released The Boosh, League Of Gentlemen, Alan Partridge and Fawlty Towers on vinyl to mark past World Record Days.
