Amused Moose picks its new comedy champion

Babatunde Aléshé crowned at Edinburgh Fringe

Babatunde Aléshé has won this year’s Amused Moose National New Comic award.

Basil Jamm was named Peoples Champion and Daniel Jones was given the award for Breakthrough Comic 2019.

Previous winner Rhod Gilbert presented the trophies after the final at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The other finalists were Michael Akadiri, Patrick Spicer, Ruby Carr, Russell Arathoon and Stuart MacPherson.
