More comics join Just For Laughs 2019

Montreal festival announces new names

Montreal's Just For Laughs festival has announced more names for this summer's line-up.

Netflix star Hasan  Minhaj is hosting one of the televised  galas, as are Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness and Howie Mandel, who headed the consortium that brought the Just For Laughs company last year.

Jewish comics Elon Gold and Modi will be staging a double-header, while Australian Instagram comedian, Celeste Barber will be making her Just For Laughs debut.

Other acts announced today are improv duo, Marc Evan Jackson and Paul F. Tompkins plus Indian star Vir Das.

Just For Laughs has also announced a gig from Aziz Ansari as part of his current world tour  Road To Nowhere, on June 20 – a month before the festival.
