Don't Hate The Playaz filming soon

Stand-up Darren Harriott is to take part in a new ITV2 comedy entertainment show about hip-hop.

Don't Hate The Playaz will also feature grime rapper Lady Leshurr, Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens, former MTV presenter Maya Jama, and DJ Shortee Blitz.

It is not known whether the celebrities announced so far include the host or team captains.

The format is described as ‘an anarchic comedy entertainment show that celebrates all things rap and hip-hop… [with] performance rounds, physical challenges and above all loads of great live music.’

Filming is due to take place at a ‘secret underground location’ in London later this month – and free tickets to be in the audience are available here.
