Tig Notaro, Gina Yashere and Mae Martin head to Montreal

Tig Notaro, Gina Yashere and Mae Martin have been added to the bill of the  prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal next month.

They will all be performing solo shows, Martin, pictured, as part of the Off-JFL strand for more alternative acts and those breaking through.

Also added is The Last Man on Earth star Will Forte, who will be hosting one of the televised galas, Wanda Sykes, Chris D’Elia Moshe Kasher and Jim Norton

Sykes will be hosting Throwback , a new show where top comedians look back at some of their barely-seen-before earliest stand-up sets and offer brutally honest critiques of their own performances

And returning to Montreal for its third yearis  LOL Live!, a series of mixed-bill stand-up showcases filmed for Kevin Hart’s digital comedy network, Laugh Out Loud. 

Just For Laughs runs from July 11 to 29, with the final week dedicated to English language programming, with French predominant until then.
